Rate Of Fire Calculator
The MKIV has a two Rate of Fire function, one for the Machine Gun folks, the other for Paintball Shooters. In each case the MKIV shifts to displaying to the thousandth of a second. Rather then the time beginning with a beep from the MKIV, the time starts with your first shot. In Machine Gun mode the shot number, split time and total time are displayed. The total times and cyclic rate are calculated and displayed.
Paintball shooters have a unique requirement to measure each split time, and from that extrapolate to the effective Balls Per Second. It will also flag the fastest split on the bottom line of the display and alarm if the maximum rate of fire is exceeded.
